💰 Numida (YC W22) (Uganda) closed a $12.3m Pre-Series A from Serena VenturesBreega and others. The fintech is offering micro-lending solutions to semi-formal micro and small businesses, driving financial inclusion (cc Mina Shahid).

💰 SweepSouth (South Africa) closed an $11m round from Alitheia IDFNaspers Limited and others. The company has built Africa’s leading home services booking platform, with presence across the continent (cc Aisha R. Pandor and Alen Ribic).

💰 Mazaya Egypt raised a $5m Pre-Seed from Raya Trade and others. The platform is coined as the country’s first B2B e-commerce site with an specialist focus electronics (cc Amir Aboul Fotouh).

💰 Farmerline Group (Ghana) added a further $1.5m from Oikocredit to their Pre-Series A. The agritech is building tech to increase farmers’ access to high-quality production inputs and education on the best farming practices (cc Alloysius Attah).

💰 Ingame Sports (Egypt) closed a $1.5m Pre-Seed from Openner.vc and others. The gaming and sports-tech startup is creating interactive experiences for football fans around the world (cc Mohab El Tawila).

💰 KUMULUS WATER (Tunisia) raised a $1m Pre-Seed from TechstarsFlat6Labs and others. The water-tech start up aims to provide portable water in an economic and sustainable way using solar energy (cc Mohamed Ali Abid).
