The Ghanaian cedi now tagged as the worst performing currency in the world – Ben Ofosu Appiah

1 Mins read

With a rapidly depreciating cedi now tagged as the worst performing currency in the world, rising inflation rising corruption, rising unemployment rising cost of living, rising hopelessness among the populace, it is not surprising the president and his government approval rating has fallen to 30% according to the latest poll. It means 7 out of 10 Ghanaians are not satisfied with the performance of the Akuffu Addo-Bawumia government. A major shake up in government, the cabinet and the EMT is needed. You cannot say your team’s performance is excellent when obviously it is not. Ghanaians are saying they are dissatisfied. Your approval rating has tanked, make changes to the team. It is well acclaimed strategy. Major Cabinet reshuffle will give you an instant boost in the polls.

The Ghana cedi is the worst performing currency against the US dollar worse than Sri Lanka, worse than Afghanistan, worse than Ukraine at war, worse than Russia under sanctions and Syria in a state of civil conflict. It is basically junk. Tough times for Ghana and Ghanaians and your government has gone to sleep. Wake up and fix the mess you created.

We need our own Inflation Reduction Act and Economic Recovery Act.
