W/R: Security Council relocates Ampremudo police barrier

1 Mins read

Motorist and Passengers who ply the Apremudo-Apowa road can now heave a sigh of great relief, following the relocation of the much-talked-about Apremudo Police barrier by the Western Regional Security council today

It will be recalled that the Western Regional Minister, Kwabena Okyere Drako-Mensah, at a media soiree last week Thursday promised to move the barrier to a different location Tuesday but there was doubt when the police were still around.

Passengers and drivers had a filled day Wednesday morning due to the relocation of the barrier. The barrier has been a subject of discussions due to the vehicular traffic and frustrations passengers go through during rush hours raising safety concerns of the Apremdu Bridge.

Even though some motorists have welcomed the relocation some hawkers are unhappy about it.
